Our Story
We founded Monday Matcha from one simple frustration: most matcha in Scandinavia just wasn’t good enough. Too bitter, too dull, too overpriced.
So we went straight to the source.
Today, we partner directly with small family-owned tea farms in Yame — one of Japan’s most respected matcha regions — where the tea leaves are carefully shade-grown and slowly developed to naturally increase L-theanine. The result is a smoother, richer and naturally sweeter matcha, without the bitterness many people associate with lower-quality blends.
We don’t work with middlemen or tea auctions. No unnecessary markups. No shortcuts.
Just exceptionally fresh Japanese matcha, sourced with intention and priced in a way that actually makes sense.
